ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां शुभाशुभफलप्रदः ।
प्रकृतेऽर्थे सहायोऽस्तु मनोवाचामगोचरः ॥
इति दिनचर्या सम्पूर्णा ।
अथ यामशेषायां यामिन्यां जागरित्वा स्मृत्वा च प्रभातस्मरणीयानि यावद् दिध्यासामि तावत् तन्द्रापुरस्कृतनिद्रया चक्षुषी मनागाक्रान्ते दृश्यते च तत्र पुरः स्थिता स्वप्ने सर्वाङ्गरमणीया सर्वालङ्कारैरलंकृता धवलतरसूक्ष्मसिचयं वसाना साम्राज्यलक्ष्मीरिवोत्कण्ठितनेत्रयोरासेचनकमादधाना काऽपि लोकोत्तरसौभाग्यशालिनी नवयौवन सुषमासमूहपरिपालिनी नितम्बिनी प्रबोधयन्ती माम् ॥
This constitutes the beginning of the introduction which again is followed by the corresponding Persian translation. Then comes the declension of nouns belonging to the different genders along with a long list of nouns and indeclineables together with their Persian equivalents. Thereafter appear the lists of important roots classified according to the order of their ganas ; their meanings in Persian also find their place side by side. These again are illustrated by means of simple passages in Sanskrit, and so on.
