Nos. 14:27-1559 describe the Upanişadbhāgyas belonging to the Advaita school, Nos. 1570-1673 to the Dvaita school and Nos. 1674-1677 to the Visiøtādvaita school.
The Vedāngas are next taken up. The Mes. on Sikaã, Chandas Nirukta and Jyautiga (Nos. 1678-1723) are described. These are followed by the Meg. on Vedalakpaņa more particalarly comprised by Vedic grammar including Prātišākhya and other subsidiary texts (Nos. 1724-1916). Nos. 1817-1942 contain notices of Mol, belonging to the subject-matter described in Volumes I-III, in the form of a Supplement, as these were detected too late for incorporation earlier. Here ends the Third Volume.
At the end of the Third Volume several Indices are added. For such indices, Volumes I–III are treated as a whole. The indices deal alphabetically with 'Names of Authors, Owners of msk., Scribes of mss, and Names of Works.
VOLUME Iy.
Volume IV describes in detail Brauta-Sūtras, Bbāşyas thereon and a portion of Srauta Prayogas. Nos. 1943-2028 describe the various Srautasūtras belonging to the first three Vedas. The Srautasūtra bhāgyas are then noticed in detail (Nos. 2029-2072). These are followed by Mss. on Srautaprayoga (Nos. 2078-2306) chiefly desling with the seven Haviryajñasamsthās and their Accessories. These are the Adhana, Agnihotra, the Anvärambhaplya, the Darśapūrņa:rāsa, the Āgrayapa, the Pindapitļyajia, the Catarmāsya, the Nirūdhapasabandha and the Sautrāmaņi sacrifices.
