Nos. 1427-1559 describe the Upanisadbhāṣyas belonging to the Advaita school, Nos. 1570-1673 to the Dvaita school and Nos. 1674-1677 to the Visistadvaita school.

The Vedangas are next taken up. The Mss. on Sikā, Chandas, Nirukta aud Jyautiga (Nos. 1678-1723) are described. These are followed by the Mss. on Vedalaksana more particularly comprised by Vedic grammar including Prātiśākhya and other subsidiary texts (Nos. 1724-1816). Nos. 1817-1942 contain notices of Mss. belonging to the subject-matter described in Volumes I-III, in the form of a Supplement, as these were detected too late for incorporation earlier. Here ends the Third Volume.

At the end of the Third Volume several Indices are added. For such indices, Volumes I-III are treated as a whole. The indices deal alphabetically with Names of Authors, Owners of mss., Scribes of mss. and Names of Works.
VOLUME IV.
Volume IV describes in detail Srauta- Sūtras, Bhagyas thereon and a portion of Srauta Prayogas. Nos. 1943-2028 describe the various Srautasūtras belonging to the first three Vedas. The Srautasūtrabhaayas are then noticed in detail (Nos. 2029-2072). These are followed by Mss. on Srautaprayoga (Nos. 2078-2356) chefly dealing with the seven Haviryajñasamsthas and their accessories. These are the Adhāna, Agnihotra, the Anvāram. bhanly, the Darśapūrṇamāsa, the Agrayana, the Pinḍapitṛyajña, the Caturmasya, the Nirudhapaśubandha and the Sautramaņi sacrifices.
