Nos. 1427 - 1569 describe the Upanişadbhāşyas belonging to the Advaita school, Nos. 1570-1673 to the Dvaita school and Nos. 1674-1677 to the Visiątādvaita school,
The Vedāngas are next taken up. The Mss. on Sikşi, Chandas, Nirukta and Jyautiņa (Nos. 1678-1728) are described. These are followed by the Mss. on Vedalaksaņa more particularly comprised by Vedic grammar including Prātiśākhya and other subsidiary texts (Nog. 1724-1816). Nos. 1817-1942 contain notices of Mes. belonging to the subject-matter described in Volumes 1-111, in the form of a Supplement', as these were detected too late for incorporation earlier, Here ends the Third volume.
At the end of the Third Volume several Indices are added. For such indices, Volumes I-III are treated as a whole. The indices dea) alphabetically with 'Names of Authors, Owners of M88., Scribes of Mss., Dates of Mss. and Names of Works',
VOLUME IV.
Volume IV. describes in detail Srauta-Sūtras, Bháşyas and a portion of Prayogas. Nos. 1943-2028 describe the various Srauta. gütras belonging to the first three Vedas. The Srautasūtrabhāşyas are then noticed in detail (Nos 2029–2072). These are followed by Msg. on Srautaprayoga (Nos 2073-2356) by chiefly dealing with the seven Haviryajñasamsthās and their accessories. These are the Ādhāna, the Agnihotra, the Anvārambhaniyā, the Darsapārņa māsa, the Agrayaņa, the Piņdapitryajña, the Cāturmäsya, the (Nirūdha) pabubandha and the Sautrāmaņi sacrifices. Under each of these, the Mss. belonging to the Rg-Veda are first noticed; then come those belonging to Sämaveda and Yajur Veda, respectively.
