There lived a Brahmin named Kašīnātha of Kasyapagātra in the Ratāpura or Radhapura of the Gauda country. He had three sons called Rājêndra, Rāghavēndra and Mahāśa, of whom Rägbavendra was a very learned and intelligent Pandit. He is said to have written Mantrarthadīpa and Kālatattvārņavasētu. He was the disciple of Bhavānandasiddhāntavägisa and had the titles of Bhattācārya, Satāva. dhāvin, eto. His son Ramadēva alias Cirañjīvakavi composed the work under notice. The work is a popular exposition of the various systems of Hindu pbilosophy and religion-vide No. 629 of the Oxford Cata. logue. It is aloo called Rajataraðgiņi.
