Prayāgakşötra --The Nirālam bas, Lakşmana, the worshipper of Varāba and the followers of the Sănkhya and the Yoga were all defeated and converted. XV. Kāsī (Vārāṇasi)-Śivābbaraņa, the worshipper of the Moon, and Pirşasamaya of Ujjain were vanquished. Vyása was seen in the form of an old man and was made to attest the truth of the philosopby of the Jagadguru. He composed Sarvamangalastavarāja and Lingapañoaka. XVI. Kēdārakņētra-Established the Muktilinga. XVII, Badarī--Created a hot water river. XVIII. Dvārakā—Another Liiga was instituted. XIX. Ayodhyā. XX. Gayā. XXI. Buddha--Kumârilabbatta, an inoarnation of Subrahmaṇya, was met. XXII. Magadha-Maņdanamiśra, the supporter of the Karma doctrine, and bis wife Sarasā were defeated by Sankarācārya who learnt the science of love by entering the body of a dead prince of Amstanagara. XXIII. The Tungabhadrā, near the mountain Rşyaśộnga-Here he built a Mutt where he established a third Linga and placed Bharati on a Yantrapīķha ; and Surēšvarãoārya was appointed to worship them there. “XXIV. Vrşācala, Vēnkatāoala-Established the Dbanā karşaņacakra. XXV. Kāñcī–Built the shrines of Ēkāmra and Kāmākşi and placed the Śrīcakra in the shrine of Kāmakõți ; also worshipped the Varadarajaksētra. A Campukāvya describing the leading inoidents in the life of Anandarangam Pillai of Pondicherry, chief dubash to Dupleix. The author of the work is Śrinivāsakavi, son of Pārvati and Gangādhara of Śrīvatsagātra. The diaries of Anandarangam Pillai have been translated and issued in four volumes.
