From that place, after commenting on the Sārīrakasūtras of Vyāsa he started on a mission of propogandism round the world with the following pupils :1. Anandagiri.
6. Vişnudarsanabuddhi. 2. Padmapada.
7. Vişnugupta. 3. Hastamalaka.
8. Samnitvāņiếuddbākşti. 4. Cidvilāsasuddhānanda.
9. Vrdd haviriñoin. 5. Jñāpakanda.
He visited the following places and defeated the undermentioned religionists headed by their ohief and performed similar great exploits :
Madhyārjunakşëtra--God Siva proclaimed in person the truth of th Advaita philosophy at the request of the Guru.
II. Kamēśvarakņātra--Sankarācărya defeated the Saiva chief named Vidvēşivira and his pupils and followers.
1II. Ananiasayanakņētra--lle converted six persons-- 1. Vişnušarman,
4. Sārngapāņi, 2. Brabmagupta,
5. Mädbava, 3. Vipradēva,
6. Vyåsadása, who, respectively, belonged to the following sects - 1. Bhakta,
4. Pancarátra. 2. Bhägavatar.
5. Vaikhănasa. 3. Vaişpava.
6. Karmabina. IV. Subrahmanyaksētra, near the sacred river Kumāradbårā-- Here he defeated 1. Jagad vidbi,
4. Divākara, 2. Hõmavidhi,
5. Suhotra, 3. Saura,
6. Vitihotra, and made them the followers of the Advaita School of the Vēdānta.
V. Guņapuram --Gåņa patas were defeated. VI. Bhavānipura.
VII. Kuvalayapura -Sārasvatas and Såvitras and worsḥippers of Lakşmi wrte vanquished.
VIII. Ujjain-Vațukanátha, the chief of the Käpälikas, was convinced and leoamo a convert to Sankarācārya's religion.
IX. Anumalla - Followers of Malläri were converted into Advaiting.
X. Varuthapurī---The followers of Manmatha were met. XI. Arthapura—The followers of Kubõra were defeated.
XII. Indraprastba--The followers of Indra headed by Bhadrahari were defeated.
XIII. Dharmaprastha--Sun-worshippers were vanquished
