Ramanujadasa (author of the work)
Rāmānujadēsika, the author's uncle and teacher, is said to have composed the Kalyāṇavallikalyana and the Veda padarāmāyaṇa and many other works. Venkaṭaraya, another teacher of the author, is said to have presented a golden horae to God Varadaraja at Conjeeveram and a palanquin to the God at Indupuri (Hindupur ?).
