The MS. is said to have been written in Samvat 1938 at Sravana Belagola by Kamarāmajayacundra, son of Jayacandra Hiracandra. Beginning:

जिनाधीसं (शं) नमस्कृत्य संसाराम्बुधितारक (म्) | स्वान्यस्य हितमुद्दिस्य (श्य) वक्षे ( क्ष्ये) सद्भाषितावली (म्) | धर्मे त्वं कुरु दुस्त्यजं त्यज महापापं बुधैर्निन्दितं सम्यक्तुं भज सम्मदं त्यज महामिध्यात्वमूलं च वै । सच्छास्त्रं पठ वृत्तमाचर जयं पञ्चेन्द्रियाणां च मो नारीसङ्गमपि स्वयं त्यज महाकामं कलङ्कास्पदम् ॥
जिनवरमुखजातं ग्रन्थितं श्रीगणेन्द्रैस्त्रिभुवनपतिसेव्यं विश्वतत्त्वैकदीपम् । अमृतमिव सुमिष्टं धर्मबीजं पवित्रं सकलजनहितार्थ ज्ञानतीर्थ हि जीयात् ॥ Colophon :

Size, 11 x 8 inches. Pages, 657. Lines, 18 on a page. Character, Dāvanāgarl. Condition, good. Appearance, new. This manuscript was transcribed in 1902-03 from a manuscript of Alvar Ayyangar Svami of Melkōṭa. The original was injured and had a leaf or so wanting in the beginning.
Complete. Bound in 2 volumes. By Jalhana.
The first 31 stanzas have been added from the Report on the Search for Sanskrit MSS. in the Bombay Presidency during 1887-88 to 1890-91 by R. G. Bhandarkar, who gives therein a full notice of this work. By Jalbana. According to the stanzas quoted at the end, however, the work was compiled by Vaidyabhanupandita for Jalha on Sunday, the 1st lunar day of Caitra in the year Pingala, Saka 1179 (which corresponds to 1257 A. D.), when the Yādava Prince Krsna was ruling in the country. This Vaidyabhanupaṇḍita also gives his own attainments in the Sanskrit literature.

यत्पादाम्भोज सेवारुचिशुचिमनसां प्रातिभं तत्तिरश्रां चक्राङ्गानामपि द्वाग्विलसति मिलितक्षीरनीरप्रभेदे । उद्दाम।ज्ञानरूपप्रबलतमतमस्स्तोमसोमस्वभावां देवीमानन्दकन्दां विधुमणिविशदां शारदां तां नमामि ॥
