This is a short poem consisting of 300 stanzas each of which, read in their natural order, narrates the story of the life of Rama, but when read in the reverse order relates the story of Kṛṣṇa.
It was composed by Venkatadhvarin (of Arasanipalai ), son of Raghunatha and grandson of Śrīnivasadikṣita, a descendant of Praṇatartihara who was a disciple of Ramanuja. Vadihamsambuda (teacher of Vedantadēsika) is also said to be a descendant of Pranatarti hara.
वन्देऽहं देवं तं (श्रीतं ) रन्तारं कालं भासा यः । रामो रामाधीराप्यागो लीलामारायोध्ये वासे ॥ सेवाध्येयो रामालाली गोप्याराधी मारामोराः । यस्साभालङ्कारन्तारं तं श्रीतं वन्देऽहं देवम् ॥ साकेताख्या ज्यायामासीद्या विनादीप्तार्याधारा । पूराजीता देवाद्याविश्वासाग्र्या सावाशारावा ॥ वाराशावासाग्र्या साश्वा विद्यावादेताजीरा पूः I राधाता दीप्रा विद्यासीमा या ज्याख्याता के सा ॥
चिरचारु रसादास लङ्केन वरजातिहा । याततानवसाकेतं ना वेदेतकृपारधीः ॥ धीरपाकृतदेवेऽनातङ्के सावनता तथा । हातजावना केलं सदा साररुचारचि ॥
