इत्या श्रीरामायणे वाल्मीकीये अद्भुतोत्तरकाण्डे प्रथमः सर्गः ॥ End:
वृत्तान्तसङ्ग्रहं चैव पठित्वा रामभक्तिमान् । जायते मुनिशार्दूल न ते कार्या विचारणा ॥ पठेत यो रामचरित्रमेतत् पुनाति पापात्सुकृतं लभेत ।
तीर्थाभिषेकं समरे जयं च स सर्वयज्ञस्य फलं लभेत ॥ Colophon:
इत्या श्रीमद्रामायणे वाल्मीकीये शतसहस्रसंहितायां सारोडारे श्रीमदद्रुतोत्तररामायणे विंश[ति]: सर्गः ।। The name of the scribe and the date of transcription are thus given :
रौद्रिवर्षे माघकृष्णेन्दुक्षये सोमवासरे । व्यलिरवत् कृष्णरायाख्यो ताटिमल्लकुलोद्भवः ॥
