Begins on fol. 1094. The other works herein are Vasumangalānataka la, Vaikunthavijaya 81a.
This is the same poem as that described under No. 3852 of the India Office Library Catalogue, Vol. VII, which consists of 42 Paddhatis, whereas the present MS., which is apparently incomplete, contains 20 Paddhatis and the edition in the Kavyamala. contains 40 Paddhatis. The headings of the Paddhatis in the three books do not coincide in all cases and Paddhatis two to four of this MS. are not represented in the other two books. The story of the poem is that Siva goes about as a mendicant begging for alms from Rājarāja, a king of the solar race who reigned in the Cola country, with a view to test his liberality, and that the women of the town who were attracted to Him discover their love when separated from Him. The name of the author, Utprēkņā. vallabha, given in the India Office MS. is not found in this MS.
