Contains the story relating to the observance of the Vrata which consists in going round the image of Visnu one hundred thousand times during the period between the eleventh day of the bright fortnight in the month of Asadha and the corresponding day in the month of Kartika. Beginning:
कृष्ण कृष्ण महाबाहो सर्वाघौघविनाशन । येन व्रतेन चीर्णेन सर्वपापक्षयो भवेत् ।।
End:
सङ्कल्प्य कुर्यानियतः कार्तिक्यां विजितेन्द्रियः । लक्षं समाप्य पश्चात्तु कुर्यादुद्यापनं कृतम् ।। . . . . राजेन्द्र कृत्वेदं व्रतमुत्तमम् ।
