- यह भी एकदम नहीं कह सकते प्रयोग ही नहीं की जाती। हमने शक्करका रस शुद्ध किया जाता है, और यह सकती है । हमने इस विषय में एकाध जगह पढ़ा है, जिसे यहाँ हम लिखते हैं ।

One ton of charcoal is some times used to purify two tons of sugar, and in at least one refinery, when inferior sugar is operated on, two tons of charcoal serve for on ton of sugar.
In most provincial refineries about one ton of charcoal is used to one of sugar etc.
