folios are slightly moth-eaten ; Devanāgari characters; band-writing, bold, uniform and legible ; folio 26 is missing ; folio 36 is double ; borders ruled with double black lines; verse-numbers marked out with red pigment ; so also colophons of chapters; for chapters I to VI there is the comm. of Căritravarddhana in this Ms ; while for the VII chapter there is the commentary of Udayakara, who has also written a comm, on the Raghuvamsa ; works and authors mentioned by Cáritravarddhana in this com
