Age The Ms. appears much old.

Subject A commentary on Durgasimha's well-known Vṛtti on the Kātantrasūtras, so called apparently because of the fourfold division into संधि, नामचतुष्टय, आख्यात and कृदंत of the Katantrasūtras. The present Ms. ends only with the third chapter of the f, and a few lines more.

नवा जिनं गुरोः संप्रदायात् ग्रंथः स उच्यते ।
चतुष्कव्यवहाराख्यः श्रीधनप्रभुसूरिणा ॥ १ ॥
Then the author goes on to explain at length in the next two pages the introductory verse etc. of दुर्गसिंह's Vrtti : thus - दिव् क्रीडाविजगीषणे दिव् । दीव्यतीति अच् ।
etc.
