legible writing. Fairly correct and complete, except leaf 2
missing. Sdbject -The Ms. really contains firstly some thing like ma na
metrical form, relating to Katantra grammar (1. 1-19), secondly Unādisūtras consisting of five sections (1.19-14), 'thirdly, a number of Paribhasas (1. 23-25) and lastly,
Siksāsandoha, a short section dealing with theणेसानाति. Begins - उक्तानुल्दुल्तानां चिंता यन्त्र प्रवर्तते।
तच्छास्त्रं वार्तिकं प्राहुर्वार्तिकज्ञा विपश्चितः ॥१॥ यबंतः पूर्वकालार्थ न ब्रवीति स नीडतां । अतः सांनिध्यबोधाय आदिशब्दं प्रवक्ष्यते ॥२॥ यदाख्यानाय सूत्रं स्यात्सूत्रमारभ्यते च यैः। विनासूत्रं यदुभ्यत्तिर्विशब्दो न तदुच्यते ॥३॥ सिद्धो॥ संज्ञा च परिभाषा च विधिनियम एव च। प्रतिषेधोधिकारश्च षधि सूत्रलक्षणं ॥४॥ अतिदेशोनुवादश्व विभाषा च निपातन ।
एतच्चतुष्टयं ज्ञात्वा दशधा सूत्रमुच्यत्ते ॥५॥ Ends - हकारं पंचमैर्युक्तमंतस्थाभिश्च संयुतं ।
उरस्यं तं विजानीयात्कंख्यमाहुरसंयुतं ॥१॥ इति कातंत्रे शिक्षासंदोहः समाप्तः । इति कालापव्याकर्ण(रण सत्राणि संपूर्ण ॥ मालपुरे ऋषिझिद्धि (?)। श्री ॥ ५२५ ग्रं ॥ The sections of this correspond with the sections of the Sūtrapātha. The work is meant to explain and complete the Sūtrapātha. The metrical form is presented til कृत्सूत्रतः पंचमः पादः (fol. 18 a) after which the 6th पाद is nothing but the 6th पाद of the कृत्प्रकरण of the usual सूत्रपात ending with अवर्णादूटो इतिः ।।
