characters with occasional qersis ; small, clear and good hand-writing ; borders ruled in three lines in red ink; red chalk, white paste and yellow pigment used; foll. numbered as usual; foll. 1 and 28° blank ; marginal notes on 10 foll. 10 and 2a; edges of the first and the last two foll. slightly worn out; foll. 16-22 somewhat worm-eaten; condition tolerably good; complete ; 11 sargas in all; 1225
ślokus in extent. Age.- Samvat 1548. Author.- Jayasekhara Suri, pupil of Mahendraprabha Suri of the

I, p. 2. Subject.- This is a poem embodying the life of Lord Rsabha up to १०
the birth of a son named as Bharata. This poem is composed
in imitation of Kalidasa's Kumārasambhava. Begins.- fol. 3' ॐ नमो श्रीजिनेंद्राय ।।
अत्युत्तरस्यां दिशि 'कोशले ति
___पुरी परीता परमर्द्धिलोकः ॥ निवेशयामास पुरः प्रियायाः
. स्वस्या वयस्यामिव यां धनेशः॥१॥ etc. Ends.- fol. 27
जगद्भर्तुर्वाचा प्रथममथ जमारिवचसा
रसाधिक्यात् तृप्ति समधिगतामप्यनुपमा । सुरायांतर्भक्ष्य(:) शुचिभुवि निवेश्यासनवरे
बलादालीपाली चघटनया भोजयदिमाम् ॥ ४०॥
