1895-1902. Size.- 9 in. by 4į in. Extent.- 31 folios ; 15 lines to a page ; 30 letters to a line. Description.- Country paper thin, rough, tough and white; Jaina
Devanāgari characters; big, quite legible, uniform and very good hand-writing; right-hand and left-hand borders ruled in three lines in black ink and the upper and the lower borders in two in red ink ; edges, in one line in black ink; dandas, some words and the last 6 lines written in red ink; the numbered and the unnumbered sides as well are decorated with a design in the centre in red colour ; foll. numbered artistically in the right-hand margin; there is a beautiful design decorating fol. 31; condition very good ; complete; composed in Samvat 1738 at 15
Thirapura ( Tharād ) in 35 dhālas. Age.— Samvat 1786. Author.- Nayavimala, pupil of Dhiravimala. He was born in
V. S. 1694. He became a Jaina monk in V. S. 1702. Hem was given the status of paņdita' in V. S. 1727 and that of sūri' in V. S. 1748 or 1749. From this date he was named as · Jñanavimala Süri'. He died in V. S. 1782. His life-sketch is given in Jaina Gürjara Kavio ( Vol. II, pp. 308-310).
As regards his additional works three are noted by me in Vol. XVII, pt. 4 as Nos. 1230, 1268 and 1314 respectively. They are bālāvabodhas of three Bhāsas. The rest written in Sanskrit are as under :
