nägari characters; big, quite legible, uniform and very good hand-writing ; borders ruled in two lines in red ink; white pigment used for making letters illegible ; foll. numbered in both the margins ; fol. 1* blank; so is the fol. 26°3; condition very good : complete ; the last verse is
numbered as 421 ; composed in Samvat 1556. Age.-- Not modern. Author.- Nemikunjara. Subject.-- A Gujarāti poem describing the life of King Gajasimha.
It points out the importance of šila. Begins.- fol. 1 ॥६० ॥ श्रीजिनाय नमः ॥ ॥
पास जिणेसर पय नमी । तेवीसमउं जिणंद सेव्यउ सुष संपति दियइ । पणमई सर नर इंद ॥१॥ 'कासमीर' मुखमंडणी । समरिय सर(स)ति माय । सील तणउ फल वर्णवओं । गावउं गजसिंघराय ॥२॥ नव रस मनरंगि वर्णवउं । शास्त्र माहि जे होह।
वीरकथा रसि धर्णओ । ते निसुणउं सहु कोइ ॥ ३ ॥ etc. Ends.- fol. 26
गजसिंह भूप तणउ चरी। मई कसि( हि? )यउ संखेपि । भणइ गुणइं जे सांभलई । मुख संपति लहहं तेय ॥ १९॥ चउपई॥ सुदगुरु तणी नाम ५ मनि धरी ॥
