1891-95. Size.- 101 in. by 4; in. Extent. - 21-1=20 folios ; 13 lines to a page ; 36 letters to a line. Description. -- Country paper thick, tough and white ; Jaina Deva.
nāgari characters with occasional JEANS ; small, quite legible, uniform and very good hand-writing ; borders ruled in two pairs of lines in black ink; red chalk used; 10 foll. numbered in the right-hand margin ; almost each and every fol. slightly worm-eaten; condition on the whole tolerably good ; there is some space kept blank in the centre of the numbered and the unnumbered sides as well ; the first fol. is missing ; so this work begins abruptly; 15 yellow pigment profusely used in some cases while making
corrections. Age.-- Samvat 1682. Author.- Not mentioned. Subject.-- Life of Gangadatta, a Jaina monk narrated in Pråkrit in 20
prose. Begins.- abruptly fol. 2" या सोइट्रखोहयं । पच्छरे मुण चिंतेई । जइ को
वि पइसरिस्सइ । तो पगेण जाणेसु । एवं दिणे विणे करेऊण रायस्सगासं गच्छइ । एवं पञ्चई कालो अह अन्नया कयाई । जुगंधरो नाम आसि साहु etc.
