cters; big, clear and fair hand-writing ; borders ruled in two lines in red ink; white paste used; numbers for foll, 1-25 entered twice as usual; the rest numbered once in the right-hand margin ; fol. 1a blank; some foll. revised and corrections entered in margins; both the text and its 15 commentary complete ; the former contains 20 cantos; the latter 17574 šlokas in entext composed in Samvat 1312
in Palanpur. Age. - Samvat Allai 41. Author of the text,- Kalikälasarvajña Hemacandra Sūri. For his

grammar and ( 2 ) an account of the 'Caulukya' dynasty. 20 This mahakävya illustrates the first seven adhyāyas of Siddhahemacandra and describes the life of the kings of the 'Caulukya' dynasty such as Mūlarāja, Bhima, Karņa, Siddharāja Jayasimha and Kumārapāla in Sanskrit. Its counterpart written in Prākrit in 8 cantos, deals with the
