________________ 1187.] (a) Miscellanea 33 In the 5th gātha, we have the word kusala which is interpreted as omnisicent. The same is the case with kušala occurring in Yogadarśana ( II, 4 and 27). See the corresponding bhāșya where kušala is explained as sarvajna-carmamasariri-ksinakleśa'. Begins. fol. 1976 MIUITE :HUITH ctc. as in No. I89. Ends.-- fol. 1986 370TUTIE 3 a tuit etc. as in No. 1189. Reference.-Published in several editions of Pancapratikramaņasútias. In Acāradinakara (pp. 2809-281b) we have these very eight gāthas and their explanation. They are introduced there with the words fra síqarTTATISIEUT TOT and on pp. 3256-3263 we have ITITIEF with a commentary. Pandit Sukhlal in his Hindi edition of Pancapratikramana (p. 64), has however observed that this poem of 8 verses should be called 3r3rier and not diartier as the subject-maiter pertains to åcåra, and he has so named them. This view of his is refuted in Siddhacakra (vol. IV, No. 6, pp. 127-139 ). There it is said that since äcāras are mentioned in these gathās with a view to remind one of the aticäras and that since the subject is not anumodana of sukrta but censuring of evil deeds and repentence, it is correct to style this work as 31 TITTIT. Furthermors, in this Siddhcakra, it is said that Sena Súri, too, has styled this work as farTITIQT. अतिचारगाथा Aticăragatha No. 1187 1210 (b). 1887-91.
