Author. A Jaina saint.
Subject. The 8 gathas in Präkrit pertaining to the five acaras and their subdivisions, the five äcärās being (1) jñānācāra, (2) darśanācāra, (3) caritrācāra, (4) tapacara and (5) viryācāra. Out of them the 3rd, 6th and 7th gathās are found with slight variations in Uttaradhyayanasūtra in XXVIII, 31; XXX, 8; and XXX, 30 respectively whereas gāthās 2 to 8 exactly tally with gäthäs 184, 182, 185, 186, 47, 48 and 187 of the niryukti of Daśavaikälikasūtra. Moreover, its 6 gatha has much in common with the 30th verse of Uttaradhyayanasūtra.
Its 1st gatha can be compared with gatha 181 of Daśa vaikälikasūtraniryukti. The first hemistich of the 3rd gathā tallies with that of Avaśyakasūtraniryukti (v. 1561).
