Extent. (text) 1 folio; 14 lines to a page; 55 letters to a line. (com.),, ; '33 Description. Country paper thin, rough and white; Jaina Devanagari characters with frequent quais; this is a qqa Ms.; the text written in small, quite legible, uniform and beautiful hand-writing; practically same is the case with the commentary except that it is written in smaller hand-writing; borders ruled in three lines in red ink; foll. numbered in the right-hand margin; the 1st fol. seems to have been numbered in a corner in the righthand margin; but, now this number is not here, since edges of this foll. are more are less gone; even few letters are gone; condition on the whole tolerably good; there is some space kept blank in the centre and eaah of the two
margins in the case of unnumbered and numbered sides; in the case of the former, the central place is decorated with a design in red colour; both the text and its commentary complete; both end on fol. 1; this Ms. contains an additional work viz. वर्धमानस्तोत्र समस्या with a commen tary; this begins on fol. 1 and ends on fol. 1". Age.- Fairly old.
Author of the text.- Jayacandra Súri. Is he same as Jayacandra Süri having the title of " Kṛṣṇasarasvati" and a pupil of Somasundara Suri of the Tapă goccha or is he that Jayacandra Suri of the Purnima gaccha, guru of Bhavacandra Suri (who composed Santinathacaritra in Vikrama Samva 1535)? If former, his additional works are:
