commentary. Somatilaka Sūri. No details about him are given here. So it remains to be ascertained whether he is one of the following three Süris of this name or he is altogether a different monk :--

(i) Somatilaka Suri of the Tapa gaccha, pupil of Somaprabha Suri and guru of Jayananda Sūri. Somatilaka became "Suri" in Vikrama Samvat 1373. He is an author of Navyakşetrasamāsa, Vicarasatra & Saptatiŝatasthanaka (Vikrama Samvat 1387) and a commentator of Yamakastuti composed by his guru.
(ii) Somatilaka Süri (c. A. D. 1330) of Rudrapalliya gaccha, pupil of Sanghatilaka Sūri.
(iii) Somatilaka Süri of Candra gaccha, guru of Devasundara Suri ( c. A. D. 1370 ).

Subject. There are four kūta verses which are given here under the heads begins' and 'ends'. There is a commentary without which these verses are almost inexplicable. Of the four verses the third is an eulogy of Lord Visņu. His various 'incarnations are here alluded to. The last verse contains names of various articles of food such as, लापसी, घेस etc. Begins. (text) fol. 7b
रावणेन विना सीता । सीतया रावणं बिना |
विना रावण (ण) सीताभ्यां रामोऽहं दशकंधरः ॥ ६ ॥
