Jain philosophy is one for leading a life with his conscience with austerity, tolerance forgiveness, Satya & Ahimsa. It teaches love for all --- not only human beings but with all living beings-and one should therefore be proud, if he is a real Jain believer in the old saying of 'Live & Let Live'.
I am proud that a saint like Acharyashri Deshbhushan Ji Maharaj has completed 51 years of his dedicated Sadhna and pray Almighty to give him many many years to live to make people know what Jainism actually means and teaches and how problems of the world can be solved by adopting Jain principles of universal brotherhood through mutual love. Jain saints like Acharyashri Ji have undoubtedly enhar.ced the 'Jain' prestige & how people appreciate about the way the Jain Sadhus live with austerity & sacrifices even in the present age.
I respectfully pray for Acharyaji's long life.

I am glad to learn that Acharya Ratna Shri Desh Bhusbanji Abhinandan Granth Samiti is bringing out a commemoration volume dedicated to Acharyaratna Shri Deshabhushanji Maharaj, India's leading Digambara Acharya, for his devoted and dedicated service by rousing the people's conscience against social evils and religious taboos. I am very happy to learn that you are bringing out a felicitation volume entitled “Aastha Aur Chintana” in the encyclopaedic form, to be presented to Acharyaratna Shri Desh Bhushanji Maharaj, on the occasion of his completion of 51 dedicated years of his Digambara Sadhana It is really a befitting tribute to this great son of India who has striven hard for 1 eligious tolerance and national unity. I congratulate the Abhinandana Grantha Samiti for making available such a volume which will be very useful to the students of Jainology in particular and religion in general.
