Though he attained spiritual heights, his life was devoted to the service of humanity and to the alleviation of sufferings. On his birth centenary, I join in paying tribute to his memory and wish the centenary celebrations all success.

Our great, country, varied as it has been in its cultural and philosophical richness, has produced illustrious leaders in all walks of lite. Gurudev Shree Nanchandraji Maharaj was one such illuminated soul, whose message could be spread far and wide, as indeed, of all the great seers of Indian thought and philosophy. I wish the Sangh all success in the Centenary celebrations.

जुलाई 29, 1976 मुझे यह जानकर प्रसन्नता हुई है कि श्री वर्धमान स्थानकवासी जैन श्रावक संघ बंबई नवम्बर, 1976 में पं. श्री नानचन्द्रजी महाराज की जन्मशताब्दी मनाने का आयोजन कर रहा है। महाराज श्री नानचन्द्रजी एक प्रसिद्ध संत, दयालु, धार्मिक तथा सामाजिक क्रांति के अग्रदूत थे। संत जी एक प्रकांड विद्वान तथा साहित्य के मर्मज्ञ थे। उन्होने धार्मिक तथा सामाजिक पुस्तकें लिखकर समाज में जागृति उत्पन्न की है। कुटीर उद्योग, महिलाओं को जीवनोपार्जन हेतु आजीविका आदि की व्यवस्था करना संत जी की महान् सामाजिक सेवाएं हैं। उनकी निस्वार्थ समाज सेवाओं तथा लक्ष्यों को शताब्दी समारोह के अवसर पर रचनात्मक रूप देना ही उनके प्रति सच्ची श्रद्धांजली होगी। आयोजन की सफलता के लिये हार्दिक शुभ कामनाएं।
