કાએ પહોંચાડે છે. અનેક યજ્ઞ યાગ તીર્થ ઉપવાસ વગેરે સાધન આટલા માટે જ શેધી કાઢવામાં આવ્યાં છે. ટુંકામાં–સર્વ સારી ભાવનાઓ, વસ્તુતઃ થોડે ઘણે અંશે પરમાત્માની જ ભાવનાઓ હે પરમાત્મપ્રાપ્તિમાં સાહાસ્યકારી છે. અર્જુનને જે અધર્મને ત્રાસ છે, અને નરકની ભીતિ છે તે પણ એક પ્રકારનાં છેવટે પરમપદે પહોંચાડનારાં સાધન છે. કેટલાક કર્તવ્ય ખાતર કર્તવ્ય કરે છે, કેટલાક જનતાના કલ્યાણાર્થે કરે છે, કેટલાક સ્વર્ગ
Again, it is true beyond dispute that war is the parent, not of violence only or cruelty, but of the heroisms which elevate and ennoble human life. The real danger of the modern world, its corrupting and corroding influence, is material luxury, and that which follows luxury as its shadow-sensuous sin In times of peace and plenty men live secular lives; they eat and drink and forget God.
