प्रस्तावना.
lowers of Parsva actually existed at the time of Mahavira Before following up this line of inquiry I have to call attention to another significant blunder of the Budhists: they call Nataputta an Aggivesana i e Agnivaisyayana; according to the Jainas However he was a Kasyapa, and we may credit them in such particulars about their own Tirthankara
But Sudharman his chief disciple, who in the Sutras is made the expounder of his creed. was an Agnivaisyayana, and as he played a prominent part in the propagations of the Jain religion, the disciple may often have been confounded by outsiders with the master, so that the Gotra of the former was erroneously assigned to the latter Thus by a double blunder the Budhists attach the existance of Mahavira's predecessor Parsva and of his chief disciple Sudharman.
श्रमण भगवंत श्रीमहावीरना वखतमा श्री पार्श्वनाथनीना अनुयायी संतानिया चौकसपणे विचरता, ए जैनना इतिहासनी खरी सानीती होवाथी बुद्धिष्टलोकोनी आ-गंभीर-भूल (जैन ए बुद्धनी शाखाछे) नी मने खात्री थाय छे. आ बादतनी तपासनो निर्णय करतां पहेला बुदीष्ट लोकोनी वीजी देखीती-गंभीर मोटी भूल माटे वांचनारनुं ध्यान खेंचवानी जरुर पडे छे के, ओ-चौद्ध लोको ज्ञातपुत्र श्रीमहावीरने अग्नि वैश्यायन गोली कहे छे ज्यारे जैनो तेने काश्यप गोली कहेछे अने पोताना तीर्थकेरा प्रत्ये जैनोना आ मतने माटे अमे तेने व्याजवी-खरा मानीये छीए. परन्तु श्रीमहावीरना मुख्य शिष्य श्री सुधर्मास्वामी जे अग्नि वैश्यायन गोनी इता अने जेणे सूतोनां तत्वनो प्रकाश करेलो छ अंन जैन मार्गना प्रचार प्रयत्नमा जेणे मुख्य भाग लीघोडे, तेथी गुरू शिष्यनां गोतना अरसपरस वीजाओए गुंचवाडा करेलोछे तेथी करी श्री महावीर जे काष्यप गोत्री हता नेने अग्नि वैश्यायन गोत्री ठराव्या. बुधीष्ट लोकोनी आ वेवढी मोटी भुल छे के:
