जो हस्त, धनिष्ठा, रेवती, मृग, आर्द्रा और पुनर्वसु इन नक्षत्रों में तेल मालिश करके स्नान करता है,
व्रत पालता है उसे कभी रोग नहीं सताते ॥ ८३ ॥
:
सोमे कीर्तिः प्रसरति वरा रौहिणेये हिरण्यं, देवाचार्ये तरणितनये वर्धते नित्यमायुः ।
तैलाभ्यङ्गानुजमरणं दृश्यते सूर्यवारे,
भौमे मृत्युर्भवति नितरां भार्गवे विनाशः ॥ ८४ ॥
सोमवार के दिन तेल लगाकर स्नान करनेसे कीर्ति फैलती है, बुधवारके दिन सुवर्णकी प्राप्ति होती है, गुरुवार और शनिवारको आयु बढ़ती है, रविवारको पुत्रका मरण और मंगलवारको खुदका मरण होता है, तथा शुक्रवारके दिन तेल लगाकर स्नान करनेसे धन-क्षय होता है ॥ ८४ ॥
विवाहे यदि सम्पत्तौ सूतकान्ते महोत्सवे । रजसि मित्रकार्येषु स्नापयेत्सर्ववासरे ॥ ८५ ॥
विवाहमें, सूतकके आखिरी दिन होनेवाले उत्सवमें और मित्रके कार्यों में जब चाहे तब तेल लगाकर स्नान करे । तथा रजस्वला स्त्री भी जब चाहे तब तेल लगाकर स्नान करे ॥ ८५ ॥ घृतं च सार्पपं तैलं यत्तैलं पुष्पवासितम् ।
न दोषः पकतैलेषु नाभ्यङ्गे नत्वनित्यशः || ८६ ॥
घी, सरसोंका तेल और सुगंधित तेल मालिशके लिए योग्य है । तथा पकाया हुआ तेलका मालिश स्नानके दिवसों में योग्य है; अन्य दिनमें नहीं ॥ ८६ ॥
दश दिशासु सन्दद्याद्वलिं तैलस्य विन्दुना । नखेषु लेपयेदादौ पूरयेत्कर्णचक्षुषी ॥ ८७ ॥
मालिश करनेके पेश्तर दशों दिशामें तेलके छींटे देवे और पहले नखों पर तेल चुपड़े, इसके बाद Train और dai डाले ॥ ८७ ॥
अन्योच्छिष्टं च जन्तूनां मृतानां च कलेवरैः ।
मिश्रितं चर्मपात्रस्थं वर्जयेत्तैलमर्दनम् ॥ ८८ ॥

जो दूसरोंके लगाये हुए तेलमेंसे बचा हुआ हो, जिसमें जीव-जन्तु पड़कर मर गये हों और जो चमड़े की कुप्पी वगैरह में रक्खा हुआ तो उस तेलका मालिश न करे ॥ ८८ ॥
मृत्तिकाभिस्त्यजेतैलं सुगन्धान्यैश्च वस्तुभिः ।
खलेना फलेनापि नान्यथा शुचितां व्रजेत् ॥ ८९ ॥
