सोमसेनभट्टारकविरचित। तो दो उपवाससे और एक पंक्तिमें बैठकर भोजन करें तो तीन उपवाससे शुद्ध होती है। यह प्रायश्चित्त सजाति रजस्वलाओंके विषयमें समझना चाहिए, क्योंकि विजातियोंके विषयमे आगे कहते हैं। दो सजाति त्रियोंके परस्पर स्पर्श करनेका प्रायश्चित्त इस प्रकार है
पुप्फवदी पुप्फवदीए सजादिए जदि छिवंति अण्णोष्णं । दोण्हाणं पि विसोही पहाणं खवणं च गंधुदयं ॥ १॥
अर्थात् एक पुष्पवती दूसरी सजाति पुष्पवतीसे छू जाय तो दोनोंकी शुद्धि, स्नान करना, उपवास करना और गंधोदक लेना है ॥ २५ ॥
ऋतुमत्योविजात्योस्तु संलापादि भवेद्यादि ।
तदाधिकायाः शुद्धिः मागुक्तादेकाधिकाइवत् ॥ २६ ॥ भिन्न भिन्न जाति (वर्ण) की रजस्वला स्त्रियां यदि परस्पर बातचीत करें, एक साथ बैठे-उठे, और एक पंक्ति भोजन करें तो ऊंची जातिवालीको शुद्धि ऊपर कहे हुए प्रायश्चित्तसे एक अधिक उपवाससे होती है। भावार्थ-रजस्वला ब्राह्मणी रजस्वला क्षत्रियाणीसे या रजस्वला क्षत्रियाणी रजस्वला वैश्यासे या रजस्वला वैश्या रजस्वला शूद्रासे बातचीत करें तो ब्राह्मणी, क्षत्रियाणी और बनियानीकी शुद्धि दो उपवास करनेसे होती है । एक साथ रहनेकी मुद्धि तीन उपवाससे और पंक्ति. भोजन करनेकी शुद्धि चार उपवाससे होती हे ॥ २६ ॥
अन्यस्यास्तु विशुद्धिः स्यात्पूर्वोक्ताहानतोऽपि वा।
यदि समं तयोर्गोत्रं तदा शुद्धिस्तु पूर्ववत् ।। २७ ।। परंतु हीन जातिकी स्त्रीकी विशुद्धि एक, दो, तीन उपवाससे और दान देने से होती है। और यदि दोनों रजस्वलाओंका गोत्र एक हो तो उनकी शुद्धि पूर्ववत्-एक, दो और तीन उपवास करनेसे होती है । भावार्थ-ऊंची जातिकी और नीची जातिकी रजस्वलाएं परस्परमें छू जाय तो ऊंची जातिकी स्त्रीके लिए उपरके श्लोकों प्रायश्चित्त बताया गया है। इस श्लोकके पूर्वाध नीची जातिकी स्त्रीके लिए और उत्तरार्धमें समान गोत्रवालियोंके लिए प्रायश्चित्त बताया गया है । वर्णक्रमसे परस्पर छ्नेका प्रायश्चित्त इस प्रकार है
बंभणखत्तियमहिला रयस्सलाओ छिवंति अण्णोणं ।
तो पढमकिरिच्छं पादकिरिच्छं परा चरह ॥२॥ रजस्वला ब्राह्मणी और रजस्वला क्षत्रियाणी यदि परस्पर छू जाय तो ब्राह्मणी दो उपवास करे और पत्राणी एक उपवास करे।
भणयणि महिलाओ रयस्सलाओ छिति अण्णोण्णं ।
तो पादणं पढमा पादकिरिच्छं परा चरइ ॥ ३ ॥ रजस्वला ब्राह्मणी और रजस्वला वैश्या यदि परस्परमें छू जाय तो ब्राह्मणी तीन उपवास कर और वैश्या एक उपवास करे।
१ पुष्पवती पुष्पवत्या सजात्या यदि स्पृशति अन्योन्यं । द्वयोरपि विशुद्धिः स्नानं क्षमणं च गन्धोदकं ॥ २ ब्राह्मणक्षत्रियमहिले रजःस्वले स्पृशतः अन्योन्यं । तदाप्रथमा अधकृच्छ्रे पादकृच्छू परा चरति ॥ ३ ब्राह्मणवणिग्महिले रजःस्त्रले स्पृशतः अन्योन्यं । तदा प्रादोनं प्रथमा पादकच्छू परा चरति ॥
