वहां शयनागार में गृहस्थ अपने जूते, बांसकी लकड़ी, पानीका लोटा और तॉंबूल आदि उपयोगी सामान अपने पासमें एक ओर रख ले ॥ ३२ ॥
कुङ्कुमं चाञ्जनं चैव तथा हारीतसुंदरम् ।
धौतवस्त्रं च ताम्बूलं संयोगे च शुभावहम् ॥ ३३ ॥
केशर, काजल, हरा रंगा हुआ कपड़ा, और पानकी सामग्री ये चीजें स्त्री-समागम के समय मंगल- कारक होती हैं ॥ ३३ ॥
भर्तुः पादौ नमस्कृत्य पश्चाच्छय्यां समाविशेत् ।
सा नारी सुखमाप्नोति न भवेद्दुःखभाजनम् ॥ ३४ ॥
जो स्त्री पतिके दोनों चरणोंको नमस्कार करके शय्यापर बैठती है वह सुखको प्राप्त होती है। वह कभी दुःखका भाजन नहीं बनती ॥ ३४ ॥
स्वपेत् स्त्री प्राक् शिरः कृत्वा प्रत्यक्पादौ प्रसारयेत् । ताम्बूलचर्वणं कृत्वा सकामो भार्यया सह ॥ ३५ ॥ चन्दनं चातुलिप्यांगे धृत्वा पुष्पाणि दम्पती । परस्परं समालिंग्य प्रदीपे मैथुनं चरेत् || ३६ || दीपे नष्टे तु यः सङ्गं करोति मनुजो यदि । यावज्जन्म दरिद्रत्वं लभते नात्र संशयः ॥ ३७ ॥ पादलयं तनुश्चैव ह्युच्छिष्टं ताडनं तथा । कोपो रोपश्च निर्भर्त्सः संयोगे न च दोषभाक् ॥ ३८ ॥
पति-पत्नी दोनों पान खाकर पूर्व दिशाकी ओर सिर और पश्चिमकी और पैर करके सोवें । दोनों अपने शरीरमें चन्दनका लेप करें और गले में पुष्पमाला पहनें। दोनों परस्पर आलिंगन कर मैथुन करें । मैथुन समय दिया न बुझावें । जो पुरुष दिया बुझा कर संभोग करता है वह अपने staries दरिद्री रहता है, इसमें कुछ भी संशय नहीं है । संभोग के समय परस्पर एक दूसरेके पेरांका लग जाना, परस्परमें उच्छिष्ट - झूटनका सम्बन्ध हो जाना, ताड़न करना, कोप करना, रोप करना, तिरस्कार करना दोष नहीं हैं । दूसरे समय में इनका होना सदोष है ॥ ३५-३८ ॥
