________________ 64 APPENDIX I. Bihāri Satasai, named after Amara Simha, the Diwān of Jodhpur State (1737 A.D.) and Kāvya-siddhānta, on Poetry and Rhetoric. No. 190. SUTHRĀDĀSA Sādhū, a Kāyastha by oaste, was an inhabitant of Allāhābād District and a disciple of Bābā Malūkadāsa whose life is the subject of the book written by the poet under the name of Malūka-parichaya. It is stated that Malūka was born in 1574 A.D. and died in 1682 A.D. No. 191. SVAYAMA-PRAKASA wrote a book named Rāma-nāma mūhātmya. His time is unknown. No. 192. TĀRĀCHANDA Rāva oomposed a book named Braja-chandrikā on Prosody, his theme,"shor example, being a description of Krishṇa and his surroundings. The poet was apparently a Bhāta by caste. No. 193. TEKACHANDA was a Jaina Āchāri. He composed the Brata-kathā Kośå in 1822 Samvat = 1765 A.D. He was under the patronage of some chief named Ummeda of Sābipur. No. 194. TODARMALLA or Malla, Kavi, wrote Rasachandrikā, a book on literary Rasas or prevailing seutiments iu human character. He belonged to Kampilā in the United Provinces. No. 195. TRIVIKRAMADĀSA wrote a translation of Basanta rāja Sakuna Śāstra, a book on omens. The writer's time is not known. No. 196. TULASĪDĀSA, the famous Gosvānii of Rājāpur (I)istrict Bāndā). He flourished in 1574 A.D. The following works of his have been found in the present search : (1) Rāma-mantra-muktāvali. (2) Barvai Rāmāyaṇa, (3) Swayamvara. (4) Rā ma-charitra-mānasa. (5) Rāma Gītā, · (6) Vinaya-patrikā.
