(५) चारों प्रतियों के इस परिचयसे साफ जाहिर है कि उक्त दोनों मूल प्रतियों में परस्पर कितनी विभिन्नता है । एक प्रतिमें जो श्लोक टिप्पणादिके तौर पर दिये हुए हैं, दूसरी में वे ही श्लोक मूल रूपसे पाये जाते हैं । इसी तरह दोनों टीकाओं में जिन पद्योंको 'उक्तं च ' आदिरूपसे दूसरे ग्रंथोंसे उद्धृत करके टीकाका एक अंग बनाया गया था उन्हें उक्त मूल प्रतियों अथवा उनसे पहली प्रतियोंके लेखकोंने मूलका ही अंग बना डाला है । यद्यपि, इस परिचयपरसे, किसीको यह बतलानेकी ऐसी कुछ जरूरत नहीं रहती कि पहली मूल प्रतिमें जो ४० पद्य बढ़ हुए हैं और दूसरी मूलप्रतिमें जिन १७ पद्योंको मूलका अंग बनाया गया है वे सब मूल ग्रंथके पद्य नहीं हैं; बल्कि टीका-टिप्प-. णियोंके ही अंग हैं—विज्ञ पाठक ग्रंथ में उनकी स्थिति, पूर्वापर पद्यों के साथ उनके सम्बंध, टीकाटिप्पणियों में उनकी उपलब्धि, ग्रंथ के साहित्य संदर्भ, ग्रंथकी प्रतिपादन शैली, समंतभद्रके मूल ग्रंथोंकी प्रकृति और दूसरे ग्रंथोंके पद्यादि विषयक अपने अनुभवपरसे सहज ही में इस नतीजेको पहुँच सकते हैं कि वे सब दूसरे ग्रंथों पद्य हैं और इन प्रतियों तथा इन्हीं जैसी दूसरी प्रतियों में किसी तरहपर प्रक्षिप्त हो गये हैं—फिर भी साधारण पाठकोंके संतोष के लिये, यहाँ पर कुछ पद्योंके सम्बंध में, नमूने के तौरपर, यह प्रकट कर देना अनुचित न होगा कि वे कौनसे ग्रंथों पद्य हैं और इस ग्रंथ में उनकी क्या स्थिति है । अतः नीचे उसीका यत्किंचित् प्रदर्शन किया जाता है
क- ' सूर्याय ग्रहणस्नानं,' 'गोपृष्ठान्तनमस्कारः' नामके ये दो पद्य, यशस्तिलक ग्रंथके छठे आश्वासके पद्य हैं और उसके चतुर्थकल्प में पाये जाते हैं । दूसरी मूल प्रतिमें, यद्यपि इन्हें टिप्पणी के तौर पर नीचे दिया है तो भी पहली मूल प्रतिमें ' आपगासागरस्नानं ' नामके पद्यसे पहले देकर यह सूचित किया है कि ये लोकमूढता द्योतक पद्य हैं और, इस तरह पर, ग्रंथकर्ताने लोकमूढताके तीन पद्य दिये हैं । परंतु ऐसा नहीं है । ग्रंथकार महोदयने शेष दो मूढ़ताओंकी
