________________ रत्नकरण्डकश्रावकाचारे___ व्यतीतयोऽतीचारा भवन्ति । कस्य ! अनर्थदण्डकृद्विरते: अनर्थ निष्प्रयोजनं दण्डं दोषं कुर्वन्तित्यनर्थदंडकृतः पापोपदेशादयस्तेषांविरतिर्यस्य तस्य । कति ? पंच । कथमित्याह-कन्दर्पत्यादि रागोवेकात्प्रहासमिश्रो भण्डिमाप्रधानो वचनप्रयोगः कंदर्पः, प्रहासो भंडिमावचनं भंडिमोपेतकायव्यापारप्रयुक्तं कौतुकुच्यं, धाष्टर्यप्रायं बहुप्रलापितत्वं मौखये, यावतार्थेनोपभोगोपरिभोगौ भवतस्ततोऽधिकस्य करणमतिप्रसाधनमेतानि चत्वारि, असमीक्ष्याधिकरणं पंचमं असमीक्ष्य प्रयोजनमपर्यालोच्य आधिक्येन कार्यस्य करणमसमीक्ष्याधिकरणं ॥३५॥ - साम्प्रतं भोगोपभोगपरिमाणलक्षणं गुणवतमाख्यातुमाह; अक्षार्थानां परिसंख्यानं भोगोपभोगपरिमाणम् । अर्थवतामप्यवधौ रागरतीनां तनूकृतये ॥ ३६ ॥ 'भोगोपभोगपरिमाणं' भवति । किं तत् ? 'यत्परिसंख्यान' परिगणनं । केषां ? 'अक्षार्थाना'मिन्द्रियविषयाणां । कथंभूतानामपि तेषां ? 'अर्थव. तामपि' सुखादिलक्षणप्रयोजनसंपादकानामपि अथवाऽर्थवतां सग्रन्थानामपि श्रावकाणां । तेषां परिसंख्यानं किमर्थ ? 'तनूकृतये' कृशतरत्वकरणार्थ । कासां ?
