________________ ३२ मद्यमांसमधुत्यागसंयुक्ताणुव्रतानि नुः । अष्टौ मूलगुणः पंचोदुम्बरैश्चार्भकेष्वपि ॥ - रत्नमाला । ऐसी हालत में यह पद्य भी संदेहकी दृष्टिसे देखे जानेके योग्य नहीं । यह अणुव्रतोंके बाद अपने उचित स्थान पर दिया गया है । इसके न रहनेसे, अथव यों कहिये कि श्रावकाचारविषयक ग्रन्थमें श्रावकोंके मूल गुणोंका उल्लेख न होनेसे, ग्रंथमें एक प्रकारकी भारी त्रुटि रह जाती जिसकी स्वामी समन्तभद्र जैसे agrat प्रन्थकारों से कभी आशा नहीं की जा सकती थी । इस लिये यह पद्यः भी क्षेपक नहीं हो सकता । संदिग्ध पद्य । ग्रंथ में प्रोषघोषवास नामके शिक्षाव्रतका कथन करनेवाले दो पद्य इस प्रकारसे पाये जाते हैं ( १ ) पर्वण्यष्टम्यांच ज्ञातव्यः प्रोषधोपवासस्तु । चतुरभ्यवहार्याणां प्रत्याख्यानं सदेच्छाभिः ॥ (२) चतुराहारविसर्जनमुपवासः प्रोषधः सकृद्भुक्तिः स प्रोषधोपवासो यदुपोष्यारंभमाचरति ॥ इनमें पहले पद्यसे प्रोषधोपवास व्रतका कथन प्रारंभ होता है और उसमें यह बतलाया गया है कि ' पर्वणी ( चतुर्दशी ) तथा अष्टमी के दिनों में सदेच्छा अथवा सदिच्छासे, जो चार प्रकारके आहारका त्याग किया जाता है उसे प्रोषधोपवास समझना चाहिये' । यह प्रोषधोपवास व्रतका लक्षण हुआ । टीका में भी निम्न वाक्यके द्वारा इसे लक्षण ही सूचित किया है— 'अथेदानीं प्रोषधोपवासलक्षणं शिक्षाव्रतं व्याचक्षाणाः प्राह' Jain Education International इस पथके बाद दो पद्य में उपवास दिनके विशेष कर्तव्योंका निर्देश करके व्रतातीचारोंसे पहले, वह दूसरा पद्य दिया है जो ऊपर नंबर २ पर उद्धृत है । इस पद्यमें भी प्रोषधोपवासका लक्षण बतलाया गया हैं । और उसमें वही चार प्रकारके आहार त्यागकी पुनरावृत्ति की गई है। मालूम नहीं, यहाँपर यह पद्य किस उद्देशसे रक्खा गया है । कथनक्रमको देखते हुए, इस पद्यकी स्थिति कुछ संदिग्ध जरूर मालूम होती है। टीकाकार भी उसकी इस स्थितिको स्पष्ट नहीं कर सके । उन्होंने इस पद्यको देते हुए सिर्फ इतना ही लिखा है कि - For Personal & Private Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
