The First Chapter. The wife was brought back home by him, lamenting. Seeing the wife in the sky, the frightened one gave the leaf-knowledge and released her in the great forest. There, seeing her weeping, the Bhilla king named Bhima took her to his village and said, "I give you the position of the chief queen." At night, he began to eat her unwillingly. Due to the power of the vow, the forest deity caused affliction to him. Frightened, he handed her over to the caravan leader named Avāsitasārthapuṣpaka. The caravan leader, showing greed, wanted to marry her, but was not desired by her. He then handed her over to the courtesan Kāmasenakulṭinī of Ayodhyā, but she did not become a courtesan in any way. Then she was shown to the lion-king king, and at night he forcibly began to serve her. Due to the power of that vow, the city deity caused affliction to him. Frightened, he expelled her from the house. Weeping with distress, she was held in high regard by Kamalashrīkṣāntikā, the śrāvikā, thinking her to be a śrāvikā. Then, in order to forget the extreme sorrow, the chief merchant Priyadata, with many helpers, went to Ayodhyā, and in the evening, entered the house of his own maternal uncle, the chief merchant Jinadatta, and narrated the news of the abduction of the daughter at night. In the morning, when he went to perform the veneration, the skillful Kamalashrīkṣāntikā, the śrāvikā, was summoned by the wife of Jinadatta to make the four-fold offering and the auspicious mark. She did everything and went to the residence. The chief merchant Priyadata, after performing the veneration, seeing the four-fold offering, remembering Anantamatī, with a distressed heart, spoke in a choked voice and shed tears, saying, "Show me the one by whom the house was decorated." Then she was brought, and a reunion took place between the two, and the chief merchant Jinadatta celebrated a great festival. Anantamatī was told, "Father! Now give me asceticism, for I have seen the diversity of the worldly life in a single life." Then, taking asceticism by the side of Kamalashrīkṣāntikā, after a long time, she died according to the rule and her soul was born as a god in the Sāhasrāra realm.
