Exposition of the Activities of the Destroyer of Charitra-moha (Delusion Regarding Conduct)
1376. This is the exposition of the fifth bhashya-gatha. (159) The destroyer of Karmic veils (Kshapaka) experiences the infinite-fold increase of the Karmas of Yashas (fame) and Gotra (high family lineage) with certainty. At the same time, he experiences the infinite-fold decrease of the Antaraya (obstructive) Karma. 212.
1377. Explanation: 1378. The destroyer of Karmic veils experiences the infinite-fold increase of the Karmas of Yashas (fame) and Gotra (high family lineage). 1379. How does he experience the other Nama (name) Karmas? 1380. The Yashas (fame) Karma is Parinampratyayika (resultant of transformation) for human and animal beings. 1381. Those inauspicious Parinampratyayika Karmas, he experiences them with an infinite-fold decrease.
1382. He experiences the Antaraya (obstructive) Karma with an infinite-fold decrease. 1383. The Bhavopagrihika (related to future births) Nama Karmas are to be experienced through six types of increase and six types of decrease. 1384. He experiences the Kevala-jnanavaraniya (obscuring omniscience) and Kevala-darshanavaraniya (obscuring omniscience) Karmas with an infinite-fold decrease. 1385. The remaining four types of Jnanavaraniyas (knowledge-obscuring), if he experiences them as Sarvaghati (all-destroying), then he experiences them with an infinite-fold decrease. 1386. If he experiences them as Deshavati (partially-destroying), then their manifestation is to be experienced through six types of increase and six types of decrease.
