The delineation of the Kristi (karmic activities) of the Charitra-moha-ksapaka (destroyer of passions related to conduct)
1247. In the first samaya (instant) of the suhuma-samparaya-kristi (subtle-transmigratory karmic activities), the pradesa-agra (the tip of the karmic body) given is small.
1248. In the second samaya, it is asankhyata-guna (innumerable times) more.
1249. Thus, up to the last samaya, it is asankhyata-guna.
1250. Now, we shall explain the series of the pradesa-agra given in the suhuma-samparaya-kristi.
1251. That is as follows:
1252. In the jhanika (lowest) kristi, the pradesa is bahuta (much). In the second, it is visesa-hina (deficient in speciality) by ananta-bhaga (infinite fraction). In the third, it is visesa-hina. Thus, proceeding in the anantaropanidha (successive) series, it reaches the last suhuma-samparaya-kristi, where the pradesa-agra is visesa-hina.
1253. From the last, the pradesa-agra given in the jhanika-badara-samparaya-kristi is asankhyata-guna-hina (deficient by innumerable times).
1254. Then, it is visesa-hina.
1255. The suhuma-samparaya-kristi-kara (the doer of subtle-transmigratory karmic activities) in the second samaya does the asankhyata-guna-hina apurva (unprecedented) suhuma-samparaya-kritis.
1256-1257. He does them in two places - below the previously done kritis and in the interstices.
1259-1260. The ones below are fewer, while those in the interstices are asankhyata-guna.
1261-1262. Now, we shall explain the series of the pradesa-agra given in the second samaya.
