The Kasaya Pahuda Sutra [15 Charitra-moha-ksapanaadhikara]
1019. The number of Palidhova-cchhedana-jnanas is also infinite.
1020. The succeeding ones are fewer.
1021. The duration of the single-moment annihilation of the Khavaga or Akhavaga, the Samayapravarddhana or Bhavapravarddhana, is very long.
1022. The duration of the two-moment annihilation is relatively less.
1023. Thus, proceeding further, the duration becomes half of the previous one at every Avalika.
1024. Even the maximum duration of the annihilation is the Asankhyatama part of an Avalika.
1025. The Samayapravarddhana or Bhavapravarddhana annihilated in a single moment by the Akhavaga are few.
1026. Those annihilated in two moments are relatively more.
1027. Thus, proceeding further, their number becomes double at every Palidhova.
1028. The Jnanas attain the Asankhyatama part of Palidhova.
1029. Even the maximum duration of the annihilation is the Asankhyatama part of a Palidhova.
1030. One moment of annihilation destroys one part of the Samayapravarddhana or Bhavapravarddhana. Therefore, the stages of reduction by one Guna are few, while the stages of reduction by one Guna are infinite.
