## Chapter 161: Description of the Action of Making the Horse's Ear (Charitramohakṣapaka Aśvakarṇakaraṇakriyā-nirūpaṇa)
**Verse 795:** In the first *pūrva-pradānas*, or in the first *vagraṇā* (group), the *pradeśāgra* (peak of the field) that is seen is abundant in the *pūrva-pradāna*’s *ādi-vagraṇā* (initial group). In the remaining *vagraṇās*, it is progressively less abundant in the *anantaropani-dhā* (successive application). - 537. This is the same in the third *samaya* (time). Only that the *pūrva-pradānas* are now both the previous ones and new ones. - 538. Now, the *pradeśāgra* that is being given is described in terms of its *śreṇi-prarūpaṇa* (series formation). - 539. In the third *samaya*, the *pradeśāgra* is abundant in the *pūrva-pradāna*’s *ādi-vagraṇā* (initial group) of the *apūrvā* (new) *pūrva-pradānas*. It is less abundant in the *vidyā*’s *vagraṇā* (group). Similarly, it is less abundant in the *anantaropani-dhā* (successive application) until the *charimā-do-vagraṇā* (final group) of the *apūrvā* (new) *pūrva-pradānas* is reached in the third *samaya*. Then, in the second *samaya*, the *pradeśāgra* is given in the *ādi-vagraṇā* (initial group) of the *pūrva-pradānas* with an *asaṅkhyeya-guṇa* (incalculable number) less. From there onwards, it is less abundant in all the *vagraṇās*. - 540. The *pradeśāgra* that is seen is abundant in the *ādi-vagraṇā* (initial group). It is progressively less abundant in the *anantaropani-dhā* (successive application) in the remaining *vagraṇās*. - 541. Just as this is the order in the third *samaya*, so it is until the *charimā-samaya* (final time) of the *pradhama-anu-bhāga-khaṇḍa* (first part of the *anu-bhāga*). - 542. The *anu-bhāga-sattvam* of *māyā* (illusion) is *anantā-guṇa* (infinitely) more than that of *lobha*. - 546. The *anu-bhāga-sattvam* of *mānas* (pride) is *anantā-guṇa* (infinitely) more than that of *māyā*. - 547. The *anu-bhāga-sattvam* of *koha* (anger) is *anantā-guṇa* (infinitely) more than that of *mānas*. - 548.
