## Special Meaning:
In the Udyaavali, all the sections of the competitors in all the external situations can be elevated or degraded. This is the gross meaning of the bondage, not the real one. Because, the tendency of elevation and degradation of the sections is only for the competitors except the lowest Ati-sthapana and Nikshepa competitors. Here, it can be doubted why the Gaathakaara gave this kind of teaching? The answer is that this teaching should be understood in terms of the situation. Because, all the section competitors are found in all the special situations from Udyaavali onwards. Therefore, when those situations are degraded or elevated, all the section competitors present in them are also degraded or elevated. Secondly, section competitors separate from the atoms present in the situations are not found. In this sense, the author has said that except for the sections that enter the Udyaavali, all the remaining sections are elevated or degraded in terms of the situation.
## Churnimoo:
Now, we will talk about the subtle meaning called Sadbhaava. It is like this: From the first competitor to the infinite competitors, they are not degraded. How many are those competitors? As many as the lowest Ati-sthapana competitors and as many as the lowest Nikshepa competitors. Therefore, except for those Ati-sthapana competitors, the competitors above them are degraded. In this way, starting from the lowest, all the infinite competitors are degraded until the last competitor. (Now, after talking about the subtle meaning related to degradation, we will talk about the subtle meaning related to elevation.) The last competitor is not elevated, the penultimate competitor cannot be elevated. In this way, starting from the last competitor, infinite competitors below it are lowered, meaning that the competitors obtained by leaving the lowest Ati-sthapana and Nikshepa competitors from the last competitor are elevated. And starting from that, all the remaining competitors below it are elevated. ||445-452||
Now, we will talk about the smallness of the terms like lowest, highest, Ati-sthapana, Nikshepa, etc., related to the elevation and degradation of the sections.
1. It is necessary to consider the sections as atoms in terms of their nature and to understand the process of their elevation and degradation.
