## Chapter 154: Description of the Action of Transition, Destruction, and Attachment to Conduct
**Verse 153:**
Those karmic particles that are destroyed, diminished, or increased remain in their state for the duration of an *avali* (a specific period of time). During this time, they do not undergo any change, such as increase, decrease, or transition. After this period, they become eligible for *bhajana* (further action). This means that after the *avali* of transition has passed, they may or may not undergo further changes, such as increase, decrease, etc.
**Verse 154:**
Those karmic particles that are destroyed, diminished, or increased are eligible for *bhajana* (further action) in the subsequent time period. This means that they may undergo further changes, such as increase, decrease, transition, or emergence, immediately after they are destroyed, diminished, or increased.
