कसायपाहुडसुत्त (१०)- कम्हा ? जेण एगिदियादयो जाव पंचिदिया सव्वे तिरिय त्ति काउं ।
(सतकचू० पृ०५) किंकारणं ? भएणति-अतिचिरकालद्वातिणि ठाणा थोवा भवंति ति काउं ।
(कम्मप० पृ० ३३।२) ऊपर दिये गये अवतरणोंसे पाठक स्वयं ही अनुभव करेंगे कि उपर्युक्त चारों चूर्णियाँ एक ही आचार्यको कृतियां हैं।
कम्मपयडीचूर्णिको भाषाके विषयमें यह बात ध्यान देनेके योग्य है कि मुद्रित कम्मपयडीचणि में जिस प्रकारको भापा आज उपलब्ध है, वैसी पहले नहीं थी, किन्तु कसायपाहुडचूर्णिकी भापाके ही समान थी। कम्मपयडीके संस्कृतटीकाकार आ० मलयगिरिने अपनी टीकामें-जोकि चूर्णिके आधार पर ही रची गई है जहाँ कहीं अपने कथनकी पुष्टिके लिए चर्णिके कुछ वाक्योंको उद्धृत किया है, उन वाक्योंकी भापा मुद्रित चर्णिकी भापासे भिन्न है और कसायपाहुडचूर्णि की भापाके समान है। प्रा० मलयगिरिके ५०० वर्ष पश्चात् सत्तरहवीं शताब्दीमें उ० यशोविजयजीने कम्मपयडीपर जो विस्तृत संस्कृतटीका रची है, उसमें भी चार-छह स्थलोंपर चूर्णि के उद्धरण दिये हैं, उनकी भी भापा मुद्रित चूर्णिसे भिन्न है । इससे ज्ञात होता है कि आजसे ढाई-तीनसौ वर्षके पहले तक कम्मपयडीचर्णिकी भापा विभिन्न रही है । किन्तु इन ढाई-तीनसौ वोके भीतर ही किसी समय जानबूझकर उक्त चर्णिकी भापा परिवर्तित की गई है, ऐसा निश्चय मुद्रित कम्मपयडीचूर्णिके पालोड़नसे होता है । भाषामे किस प्रकारका परिवर्तन किया गया है, इसके लिए एक नमूना उपस्थित किया जाता है
