## Kasayapāhuḍasutta (10) - Kamhā? Jeṇa egidiyādayo jāva pañcidīyā savve tiriyatti kāuṁ.
(Satakacū. p. 5) Kiṁkāraṇaṁ? Bhaeṇati-aticirākāladvātiṇi ṭhāṇā thovā bhavanti ti kāuṁ.
(Kammapa. p. 33.2) From the above passages, the reader will themselves experience that the above four powders are the works of the same Acharya.
Regarding the language of the Kammapayadīcūrṇi, it is worth noting that the language available today in the printed Kammapayadīcūrṇi was not the same earlier, but was similar to the language of the Kasayapāhuḍacūrṇi. The Sanskrit commentator of Kammapayadī, Ācārya Malayagiri, in his commentary, which is based on the cūrṇi, has quoted some sentences from the cūrṇi to support his statement, the language of those sentences is different from the language of the printed cūrṇi and is similar to the language of the Kasayapāhuḍacūrṇi. After 500 years of Prācīna Malayagiri, in the 17th century, Upādhyāya Yaśovijayajī composed a detailed Sanskrit commentary on Kammapayadī, in which he has also given quotations from the cūrṇi at four to six places, their language is also different from the printed cūrṇi. This shows that the language of the Kammapayadīcūrṇi has been different until two to three hundred years ago. But within these two to three hundred years, the language of the said cūrṇi has been deliberately changed at some point, this is certain from the examination of the printed Kammapayadīcūrṇi. To illustrate how the language has been changed, an example is presented.
'Tāo kiṭṭīo paḍhamasamae kevaḍiāo ṇivyattedi'? The language of this sentence has been changed as follows:
Tāto kiṭṭīto paḍhamasamate kevaḍiāto ṇivyatteti? The language of the entire printed text is of this type. Here, some passages are given from both the Sanskrit commentaries of Kammapayadī, from which the readers can clearly understand the language change. (1) Printed text - 'Piṇḍapagaḍīto nāmapagaḍīto'.
