**_ Chapter 105 _**. **Description of the Specific Forms of Upashaka**
**(51)** When the karma of Sammattapadamalambha arises, it becomes Vedakasamyagdristi if it arises with the nature of Samyaktva, it becomes Samyagmithyadristi if it arises with the nature of Samyagmithyatva, and it becomes Mithyadristi if it arises with the nature of Mithyatva.
**(52)** After the karma of Sammattapadamalambha, if the karma of Apadhamalambha arises, then the latter is to be worshipped.
**Explanation:**
When a karma arises due to its own nature, it becomes a Vedakasamyagdristi if it arises with the nature of Samyaktva, it becomes Samyagmithyadristi if it arises with the nature of Samyagmithyatva, and it becomes Mithyadristi if it arises with the nature of Mithyatva.
The first time a being with Anadi Mithyadristi attains Samyaktva, it is through Sarvopaśama. A being with Sadi Mithyadristi who is Viprakrista also attains the first Samyaktva through Sarvopaśama. However, a being with Sadi Mithyadristi who is Aviprakrista and who attains Samyaktva repeatedly, is to be worshipped through both Sarvopaśama and Deshopaśama, meaning they attain the first Samyaktva through both methods.
**Specific Meaning:**
Sarvopaśama is the cessation of the arising of the three natures of Darshanamoha, Mithyatva, Samyagmithyatva, and Samyaktva, through the three consequences of Adhakarana, etc. Deshopaśama is the cessation of the arising of Mithyatva and Samyagmithyatva, along with the arising of Deshaghati Sparthas related to the nature of Samyaktva.
A being with Anadi Mithyadristi attains the first Samyaktva through Sarvopaśama. A being who attains Samyaktva once and then becomes Mithyadristi again is called Sadi Mithyadristi. There are two types of Sadi Mithyadristi: Viprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi and Aviprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi.
A Viprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi is one who falls from Samyaktva and attains Mithyatva, and then continues to wander in the cycle of existence for an immeasurable amount of time, or even longer, until they reach the state of Deshon Ardha Pudgal Parivartan, due to the agitation of Samyagmithyatva and Samyaktva.
An Aviprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi is one who, after attaining Mithyatva, is inclined to attain Samyaktva within the immeasurable portion of the Palyopama.
Of these two, a Viprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi attains the first Samyaktva through Sarvopaśama. However, an Aviprakrista Sadi Mithyadristi attains the first Samyaktva through both Sarvopaśama and Deshopaśama. The reason for this is that a being who falls from Samyaktva and is inclined to attain Samyaktva again within a short period of time, within the Vedaka-Prayogya period, attains Samyaktva through Deshopaśama. Otherwise, they attain Samyaktva through Sarvopaśama.
After attaining Samyaktva for the first time, Mithyatva arises again. However, after attaining Samyaktva for the second time, they are to be worshipped.
