Kasayapahuda Sutra
In the first stage, the Darsanamohaniya (deluding karma) is subsiding, the remaining karmas are subsiding and subsided.
Now, compare this description with the Kammapayadi Churni -
In the first stage, the merit (punniya) of the son of the Pattissa is of the size of a mountain, the merit of the Sranubhaga is of the size of a piece, the bondage of the Ditibandha is without any merit, the series of merits (gunasedhi). The Darsanamohaniya of the first stage is not subsiding due to the conduct of the Sraniya, the remaining karmas are subsiding and subsided. (Kammap. Upas. p. 25)
The reader will himself experience that there is verbal similarity in both the quotations. (12) The specific activities that occur after the lapse of a certain fraction of the time of the non-return of the Darsanamohaniya-destroying karma are described in the Kasayapahuda as follows:
p. 647, sutra 44. Then, when countless fractions of the Ditthadikhandaya have gone, the Darsanamohaniya's Ditthadisantakamma is completely destroyed. 44. Then, by the destruction of the Ditthadikhandaya-putra, the Thitisantakamma is completely destroyed. 45. Then, by the destruction of the Thitthadikhandaya-putra, the Ditthadisantakamma's Thitibandha is completely destroyed. 46. Then, by the destruction of the Thitidikhandaya-putra, the Thitisantakamma is completely destroyed. 47. Then, by the destruction of the Thitidikhandaya-putra, the Thitisantakamma is completely destroyed by the Ekindiya-bandha. 48. Then, the Darsanamohaniya's Dvitisantakamma is destroyed by the Palitopama-thitiga of the Thitidikhandaya-putra.
Now, compare the above quotation with the Kammapayadi Churni -
1
In the first stage, the Darsanamohaniya's Dvitisantakamma, which is being destroyed, becomes completely destroyed. Then, when the Dvitikhandaga-puhutte has gone, the Caturindiya-santakamma becomes completely destroyed. Then, when the Tritiyakas have gone, the Tritiya-diya-santa becomes completely destroyed, then when the Dvitiyakas have gone, the Dvitiya-diya-santa becomes completely destroyed, thus the Ekindiya-satta-santa-kamma becomes destroyed. Then, when the Dvitikhandaga-puhutte has arisen, the Palitopama-thitiga Darsanamohaniya-dvitisantakamma is destroyed. (Kammap. Upas. p. 36)
The readers will themselves experience the similarity between the two Churnis.
(13) In the Charitra-mohopasamana-adhikara, the description of the inner activity after the destruction of the Sarvaghatiya (all-destroying) prakritis is as follows:
p. 686, sutra 127. Then, after the destruction of the Desavadika, he performs the inner activity in countless Thibandha-thousands. 128. Of the twelve Kasayas and the nine Gokamavedaniya. There is no inner activity of any other karma. 129. Whatever he experiences as burning, and whatever he experiences as feeling, he establishes the first stage of these two karmas for a muhurta.
