Gāthā 62] Determination of the Paucity and Abundance of the Five Aspects of Bondage with Respect to the Regions 549 and Infinite Qualities.
609. The lowest degree of the rise of aversion (arati) and sorrow (śoka) and their manifestation is very small. 610. The lowest degree of the bondage of aversion and sorrow is infinitely greater. 611. The lowest degree of the inflow (samkrama) of aversion and sorrow and the lowest degree of the satkārma (meritorious activity) are infinitely greater.
The topic of the paucity and abundance of the anubhāga (intensity of karmic effects) is completed. 612. With respect to the regions, the highest degree is the highest. 613. The highest degree of the manifestation of the twelve kasāyas (passions) - mithyātva (false belief), anantānubandhī (unending attachment), etc., and the six nōkasāyas (quasi-passions) - hāsya (laughter), etc., is very small. 614. The highest degree of the bondage of the above-mentioned passions is asaṃkhyeya (innumerable) times greater. 615.
