Verse 58] Determination of the Duration of the Bhujāgāra (Serpentine) Transformation of Anubhāga (Intensity)
375-308. The Samyagdṛṣṭi (right-believer) is the one who has the least and indescribable (avaktavya) Anubhāga-saṃkrāmaka (one who undergoes transformation of intensity). 309. Who is the Avastḥita-saṃkrāmaka (one who undergoes stationary transformation)? 310. The other (Samyagdṛṣṭi or Mithyādṛṣṭi).
311. This is the duration of a single Jīva. 312. What is the duration of the Bhujāgāra-saṃkrāmaka (serpentine transformation) of Mithyātva (wrong belief)? 313. The minimum duration is one Samaya (instant). 314. The maximum duration is Antaḥmuhūrta (less than 48 minutes). 315. What is the duration of the Alpatara-saṃkrāmaka (one who undergoes least transformation) of Mithyātva? 316. The minimum and maximum duration is one Samaya. 317. What is the duration of the Avastḥita-saṃkrāmaka of Mithyātva? 318. The minimum duration is one Samaya. 319. The maximum duration is slightly less than one hundred and sixty-three Sāgaropama (ocean-measure) periods.
