**Kashaya Pahud Sutta [5]**
**[Verse 30]**
Twenty-six, fourteen, seventeen, eleven, and nineteen - these five **pratigraha** (receptacle) places are where the twenty-three **samkramas** (transitions) occur. This twenty-three **samkramas** is found only in the five senses.
**[Verse 31]**
Twenty-six, fourteen, seventeen, eleven, and nineteen - these five **pratigraha** (receptacle) places are where the twenty-three **samkramas** (transitions) occur. This twenty-three **samkramas** is found only in the five senses.
**Explanation:**
This verse describes the transition of twenty-three **samkramas** through five **pratigraha** places.
* A being with **mithyatva** (false belief) who has **ananta-anubandhi** (infinite attachments) and **mithyatva** (false belief) will transition through twenty-two **pratigraha** places. The **ananta-anubandhi** (infinite attachments) and **mithyatva** (false belief) will not transition, as they are not present in the **mithyatva** (false belief) **guna-sthana** (state of being).
* A being with **asanyata-samyag-drishti** (uncontrolled right faith) who has twenty-four **prakruti** (elements) will transition through nineteen **pratigraha** places.
* A being with **sanyata-asanyata** (controlled-uncontrolled) who has twenty-four **prakruti** (elements) will transition through fifteen **pratigraha** places.
* A being with **pramatta-sanyata** (distracted-controlled) or **aprammatta-sanyata** (undistracted-controlled) who has twenty-four **prakruti** (elements) will transition through eleven **pratigraha** places.
* A being with **antar-karana** (inner organ) who has twenty-four **prakruti** (elements) will transition through seven **pratigraha** places.
All these beings have twenty-four **prakruti** (elements), so they can transition through the mentioned **pratigraha** places, except for one **samyaktva** (right faith) **prakruti** (element).
A being who has **ananta-anubandhi** (infinite attachments) is always a **sanjnee** (conscious) **panchendriya** (five senses) being.
